Visa at Vipluck — what a card can and cannot do here

A card is the most familiar way to pay for anything, which is precisely why it disappoints so many players in this market. The transaction fails and the card is fine; the reason lies elsewhere. This page explains the mechanism and what to keep in reserve. All other routes are on the payments page.

Why a Polish issuer declines

Card transactions carry a merchant category code, and gambling merchants use 7995. Many Polish banks apply a blanket policy to that code, refusing authorisation regardless of balance or limit. Separately, payment service providers are obliged to refuse payments to any entity listed in the register of domains kept by the Minister of Finance. Two independent mechanisms, one result: a decline that says nothing about the card itself.

Some issuers allow the block to be lifted on request and some do not. Whether that is worth pursuing is a personal decision; what matters practically is having a second corridor ready rather than discovering the problem mid-session.

Deposits are easier than withdrawals

Even where a card deposit authorises, the withdrawal leg is slower and stricter. A withdrawal to a card runs as a credit transaction that has to be matched to the original deposit, then clears through the issuer's own schedule. One to three business days is the declared range, and verification sits in front of it. Where the deposit came from a card that has since expired, the operator will ask for a different verified method.

Rules the card does not exempt you from

Chargebacks are not a strategy

A chargeback exists for goods never delivered or fraudulent charges — not for regretted gambling losses. Attempting one against a gaming operator typically ends with the account closed and the balance frozen, and it does not resolve the underlying issue. If a payment genuinely went wrong, the ordered path is a support ticket with evidence, then the escalation described on the complaints page.

What to keep as a backup

Given how often cards are refused here, a verified second corridor is not optional. Wallets insert a buffer between the bank and the operator; crypto bypasses banking altogether; BLIK can fund an account but never pays out. Set the backup up early, while nothing depends on it.
